Another gas line break in Tri-Lakes area

A gas line has broken in the Tri-Lakes area, in the same place as yesterday, when school buses from Lewis Palmer High School in D-38 had to be rerouted.

The Tri-Lakes Fire Department reports that gas to the line has been shut down, and all roads are open.

The area affected is Furrow and Archer Roads.

Colorado camp sites available for Labor Day Weekend

Many of Colorado's state parks still have camp sites available for the Labor Day weekend.

Arkansas Headwaters, Yampa River, Crawford, Eleven Mile and Mancos state parks are among the sites that still have spaces open all three days.

But others are already full for the three-day weekend. They include Lake Pueblo, Cheyenne Mountain, Cherry Creek, Paonia and San Luis state parks. Other parks have camp sites available one or two days.

Flu vaccine arrives in southern Colorado

You may have seen a few signs the flu season is on the horizon. Some pharmacies around southern Colorado have the flu shot available now. Not everyone plans to get one.

"I just tend to be a healthy individual, and I never seem to get things," explains Dave Urban.

NB I-25 cleared in Monument

All vehicles involved in a traffic accident on northbound I-25 in Monument have been moved to the shoulder.They had been blocking the center and left lanes, causing a back-up that went for miles.

Injuries were reported.

The crash is at milemarker 162.
